My kindle is full of highlighted passages that will stick with me whenever I think of Kellan, his lyrical prowess shining through the prose of the story making it like a very long, sad song to listen to. You certainly get your monies worth and then some, because, again - it's Kellan Kyle! But this story isn't for the faint hearted and isn't a short one. Seeing the story through his eyes really made me a part of the story. The highs, the lows, the nail scratching sex, the nail biting discovery - Kellan made me feel so much more than Kiera did. Turns out it was always her indecisiveness that bugged the shit out of me. His indecision over leaving always frustrated me before. We all know those two belonged together and nothing or no one would be able to stand in their way. Seeing his inner turmoil and his attempts to stay away and avoid any contact with Kiera made me believe he fought it the best way he knew how. It was one of my biggest turn offs but Kellan changed that. If cheating is one of your triggers, stay away from the Thoughtless series. He coveted what they had and wanted it for himself.
